Recently I went onto Grindstore website and brought a load of items. This is what I brought. I love a baggy t-shirt which I can dress up in many ways and make it more girly. Or even wearing it as a short dress with some statement shoes is perfect for the hot weather.

Recreating Existing Album Artwork

I have said before that I love Photography, this time I wanted to recreate existing pieces of artwork with my own style. I always use Photoshop to edit my photos. This image is a recreation of Panic! at the Disco's Too Rare to Live to Weird to die album it was taken in Whist-able when the tide was out. This is my dad and can I just add this is not a real cigarette I am against smoking completely! The smoke has been transposed onto the original and then contrasted so it was Black and white. I am really pleased with this edit and I always thought my dad made an excellent model.

Skorts - Yay or Nai?

I have recently heard of these Skorts and was curious to find out more about them. I didn't know what they were until a few weeks ago and have actually brought one since then. I was in Primark at the time and had seen a pair of shorts which were really nice for the summer, only when I got into the changing room I realised they were a skirt that looked like shorts. Is this weird? How many people actually like these? I don't know whether I like the fact that they are meant to look like a skirt but I am not against these. I styled them with a black vest and actually really liked the look. They are not my first choice when buying new shorts but I am up for buying more since the revelation of the skort.

Daily Essentials

My morning routine

This is a list of everything I use in the morning and products I swear by that everyone should try!

Firstly I cleanse tone and moisturise. To do this I wash my face with hot water and then ex-foliate the skin with body shop wash (green bottle) and rinse with hot water. I then close the pores with cold water and towel try my face, this should leave a smooth warm feeling leaving your skin revitalised and refreshed. I usually wipe my face again with a baby wipe before applying the 'simple' clean and clear moisturiser which you can get in Primark which makes my face all soft and ready to apply make up if necessary. :)

Get ready with me - Prom!

So recently I went to my sixth form prom and I had to go out buying a new dress and planning everything I wanted to wear and do for this night. my first initial thoughts were aaahhhh HELP! but I had time to plan and it all turned out great in the end and I had a wonderful time with some great friends. I am going to show you how I got ready for prom and try to help you when getting ready for a night out.

Firstly I had to buy a new dress! I'm not a very dressy person so I thought of alternates which will work just as well. I actually ended up with a jump suit (trousers not shorts) which looked very smart and presentable and not to casual as I didn't want to be too dressy and look odd. I brought it in Topshop which made me think yes! I will be able to wear this again rather than just once. Remember to always buy something you intend on wearing again otherwise that is just a waste of money!

Then came the accessories and colour scheming. Luckily I had brought a black jumpsuit so I could choose any colour. I went for purple and clear because I had seen a beautiful clear purse which I wanted to take with me but this meant having stuff to take with me and knowing that people could see inside my bag. I looked around for different purple rings and other accessories and even looked at purple phone cases and lipsticks as I wanted everything to be perfect. Everything has to match otherwise it freaks me out :P The shoes were the hardest I looked round the whole of my local town and ended up at Bluewater which I nearly gave up on as I couldn't find what I was looking for. I had seen clear heeled shoes in irregular choice but they weren't quite right but then I stumbled across a pair of plat formed clear heeled shoes in Schuh and instantly knew they were the ones. they were slightly pricey but if they are right then ask your family if you are not independent for some help, I asked my mum and dad to go halves as prom is a once in a lifetime event and they said yes!

After buying my outfit I had to decide on how I wanted my hair and make-up. I am not very good when it comes to hair and make-up as I always go for the same boring natural look but my sister loves all of that so I got her to help me. she thought a nice tanned base with a soft pink lipstick, and a rosy cheek with a defined brow. When applying blusher start with a minimal amount to the apples of the cheeks you can find the apples by a big cheesy grin. you can always add more after as there is nothing worse than over blushed cheeks. Also when applying eye-liner be slow and steady to be sure you get a straight and even line to the top lash line.

Exercise with me

Any body that knows me knows I am obsessed with exercise. It isn't something I do because I want to loose weight I do it because its fun and it keeps me fit and healthy. Here are some simple easy circuits which can be done any time even if you are squeezing it in before shifts/work. Put on your playlist and go for as long as you want. By exercising it doesn't mean you will be healthy instantly it has to be worked at and by eating healthily at the same time will increase the level of fitness into your lives.

These workouts are for the legs and butt and can be repeated up to 3 times.

20 squats
30 lunges
40 calf raises
50 second wall sit
100 jumping jacks (star jumps)
50 second wall sit
40 sumo squats
30 leg raises
20 squats

Fearne Cotton and Jesse Wood Wedding

Yay! i'm so happy Fearne and Jesse wed, look how lovely they both look. Fearnes dress is just beautiful its so simple yet elegant with a silver necklace. The dress was a custom made Emilio Pucci an Italian fashion designer who was known for his geometric prints. 

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

I am a massive fan of Alice in Wonderland and have always wanted to create a themed photo shoot based on Alice and her adventures. My Grandpa was recently clearing out his bedroom to redecorate and it gave me the perfect idea to recreate Alice in Wonderland using his empty bedroom as it had some great angles in which I could use to create the hole. Here are some of the outcomes from this shoot. As you can see some have been taken outside.

Primark

I have mixed reviews on Primark as it can either be fantastic or a load of rubbish. I always see my friends dressed nicely and ask them where they buy there clothes from and they always reply with Primark but I never see the massive fuss over it. I often shop in Primark but I can never find what I am looking for and always just see rails of everyday common rubbish, I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or if I'm shopping at the wrong times. Its only when you least expect to buy something the shop is full of everything and I realise I'm out of money. I don't understand the drama and why it is so full all the time that may be a reason it puts me off from finding anything I like. I love a bargain especially as it is one of the main high street brands which are affordable these days.
